You may constantly hear about how most golf range netting is made of the highest quality materials. However, many people may wonder what that actually means. They may want to know exactly which materials are considered high quality for these nets should they decide to run their own range.
There are all kinds of materials that go into these nets, but the two most common are polypropylene and nylon. One materials known as monofilament polypropylene is one of the strongest and usually has a break strength of 75 pounds per mesh. After that would be nylon, and knit polypropylene is what is usually used in economic models.
I didn't know that all of these materials were used. It's no wonder they are strong. That is exactly what is needed to keep these spaces securely enclosed.
